Song for Our Bones.

An ode,
To shed Spinelessness, to
To stop entertaining it when there is
So much work to be done
Heart work
[group project btw]
To return to a growing yet seemingly final “I’m gonna make it count if I’m gonna do this thing(life)” moment. to feeling alive again, even though it is
So painful & raw
&Sweet
It asks of me most often my COURAGE
& rage & patience & reverence,
and CARE
The smell of tender care:
Divine
smells wake me these days
From my tears
And my come,
I’m finding
They are new,
again.
It’s funny
finding the words
now.
